We are a Mississippi Based Firm with passion and focus on investing in opportunities in the southeastern region of the U.S. The South has often been overlooked for many years as a breeding ground for investment opportunity. With limited access to capital due to the lack of private equity and venture capital firms being prevalent in the area, the opportunity to invest in businesses positioned for growth in the South is ever present. Positive outlooks include: Limited Access to Capital, Diverse Investment Opportunities, Region Specific Investments, and Greater Access to Government Programs Funds, Tax Credits, and Tax Shelters Due to a saturated area of Quality Census Tracks and Opportunity Zones.

 

Minority Focused. We believe a focus on Minority allows us to see deal flow that has been underrated and overlooked by typical private equity and venture capital firms. Our goal is to deploy at least 60% of our investments into African American, People of Color, and Women founders and or companies who focus on providing products and services to this population. This focus will yield proprietary deal flow and unique and disruptive companies in our portfolio. We are also able to capitalize on synergies within our portfolio companies and gain access to key Government Programs to assist the under served population.

Operation Focused. As a team of entrepreneurs, we bring a unique advantage to companies with our operational experience collectively spanning 30 plus years. We will take an active approach from initial investment through successful exit that leverages our expertise, relationships, and operational experience to reduce risk and maximize value. We know how to build companies and understand the challenges lower to middle market companies face. And with our extensive network, we are able to service our portfolio companies across a wide array of markets. We are committed to providing more than just money to drive the success of Fund portfolio companies.

Income Focused. We believe a company does not need a Billion Dollar Valuation to be a great company. Our fund is focused on what matters most, Cash Flow and the growth of it. We invest in great companies with clear runways for income growth and cash flow. It is important to the success of the fund and the value we provide our investors. Traditional private equity and VC funds focus on large market cap companies, thus overlooking companies with significant value and the ability to produce consistent growth and cash flow found in lower to middle-market companies.

Investor Focused. We believe that our investors are most important in what we do. With that being said, our number one goal is to protect investor capital through a risk-adjusted approach that yields an above market return. We first achieve that goal by making sound investments in companies that meet our Focused Five and provides a Risk-Adjusted position in our portfolio. Through our networks and extensive relationships, we are also able insure protection of investor capital through the leveraging of capital through government agencies and programs.
